Scholarship Opportunities!!!!!

  • This is a renewable scholarship of up to $10,000 per year for Hispanic students pursuing a STEM-related degree. Eligible students must: Be of Hispanic origin and/or must significantly demonstrate leadership or service within the Hispanic community; Have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher; Demonstrate merit through academic achievements, leadership, and campus/community activities; Be pursuing a science, technology, engineering, or math degree. http://www.greatmindsinstem.org/college/henaac-scholarship-application-guidelines

  • The Society of Women Engineers offers one-time and renewable scholarships to incoming freshman women pursuing a degree in engineering. Eligible candidates must identify as female, have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5+, and be pursuing a degree into an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) engineering or computer science program.   • This scholarship awards between $2500 to $5,000 to NYC students with an expressed interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Business/Finance are strongly encouraged to apply. Students must possess a GPA of 2.5.+ Candidates must submit two essays, a resume, one letter of recommendation, an official transcript, and a professional photo. Deadline is January 31, 2018. Winners will be notified in mid-February and recognized at an awards ceremony in March.   • Chase Rubin is offering a $1,000 scholarship to eligible high school students graduating in 2019.
